Their soldiers patrol the roads, defend the villages and strive to maintain order in a land where peace is always fragile.
Yet even loyal subjects whisper that the family's grip on power is no longer as firm as it once was.
House Blackmere
Ambitious and calculating, House Blackmere believes Westholde deserves stronger leadership. While they publicly serve the Duchy, their influence grows through wealth, alliances and carefully laid schemes. Some see them as visionary reformers capable of bringing prosperity to the frontier. Others believe they would stop at nothing to claim the Ashford throne.
